Hey guys, welcome to Robotobzor! Today, we’ll look at Roborock Dyad Pro Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum. It’s a new addition to 2023, and has just gone on sale. The vacuum is an updated version of the previous model Roborock Dyad. But it’s a big update: getting a roller dryer function on the base, a built-in detergent cart, and some other additions. Now, I’ll show you how Roborock Dyad Pro is built, what it’s capable of, other differences from the previous model, and lastly give my opinion if this is the robot for you! At the time of the review, you can find it for $450-500, which puts it in the premium segment. Let’s get rolling!

Kit
Let’s start with the kit. The vacuum came in this box:
Inside are these things:
- A self-cleaning and charging base
- Removable handle.
- Power cord.
- An extra HEPA-filter.
- A brush for cleaning the vacuum.
- A manual.
- And in my case, the brand’s cleaning liquid, though it doesn’t always come in the kit.
All in all, the kit’s good, let’s keep going!
Appearance
Let’s see how Roborock Dyad Pro is built. It’s black and white. The assembly feels high quality, all of the little details have been thought through, and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
Let’s start with the cleaning module. It has three rollers: two short ones at the front and one long one at the back. Interestingly enough, Roborock Dyad had it vice versa – two short rollers at the back and the long one at the front.
But this isn’t critical. The main advantage of this module, compared with its competitors, is that the rollers go to the edge of the body on both sides, which lets you get dirt from baseboards and along furniture.
The front rollers are easy to remove by pulling on the sides. The back roller needs to be moved to get it out. On one side is a water guard.
There’s a mechanical switch on the front. It lowers and raises the mudguard in front of the front rollers. This helps protect against objects in the way, for example, wires or toys.
But Roborock Dyad Pro’s Highlight is the detergent cart integrated into the cleaning module. The manufacturer states that it lasts for 20 water tanks, or 600 minutes of pure work. Very clean.
Let’s move on to the other units. The dirty water tank was increased 150 ml (5.07 Oz.) to hold a total of 770 ml (26 Oz.)l. Inside is a HEPA filter with a mesh and a good coarse filter with a few types of grids.
The clean water tank’s volume was also increased, by 50 ml (1.7 Oz.) to fill 900 ml ( 30.4 Oz.) of water.
On the top of the body is an LED display, which shows the battery charge, the selected mode, notifications and how dirty your floor is. Note, that in auto mode Roborock Dyad Pro can select the best suction power, depending on how dirty your floor is, which is really cool.
There are three buttons on the handle: power on/off, mode selection and start self-cleaning. Roborock Dyad Pro has four modes: Eco, Auto, Max, and Floor Drying, which can vacuum without water. Eco mode was added, which the previous model didn’t have.
And, here’s how the station looks. On it, the vacuum can self clean and dry its rollers. On the back we can see the vent holes of the fan, which pushes the warm air.
Oh, and unlike Roborock Dyad, the Pro version supports full vertical parking, without a footrest, and it’s more convenient.
Technical features
Roborock Dyad Pro’s main features are up on the screen. In brackets I show how much one or another thing has increased compared to the previous model, to make it clearer to you what else has changed:
- Battery: Li-Ion, 4000 mA*h (-1130 mA*h).
- Power: 260 Wt.
- Suction power: up to 17000 Pa (+4000 Pa).
- Charge time up to 4 hours.
- Work time up to 43 mins (+8 mins).
- Clean water tank: 900 ml [30.5 Oz.](+50 ml)[1.6 Oz.].
- Dirty water tank: 770 ml [26 Oz.] (+150 ml) [5 Oz.].
- Cleaning area: 300 m² [984 Ft².(+20 sqm.m.)[65 sq.ft].
- Volume: 72-77 dB (-3 dB).
We see that many features have been updated, and some of them are important, like the solution power or the tank capacity. The only thing is the battery. As far as I know, it was 5130 mA*h, but now the manual says 4000 mA*h. But either way, it works for longer with the addition of the ECO mode.
I measured the volume myself. It stays within 72-77 dB, depending on the mode. The volume has become smaller, again, because of the addition of the ECO mode.
Functions
As for Roborock Dyad Pro’s functions, as I mentioned earlier, it can automatically increase the suction power when it sees dirt. Plus, I’ll highlight that the notifications are in English. But the app is far more interesting, which you can connect to the vacuum.
The app has lots of settings. You can select the operating mode, manually adjust the power and water flow rate, adjust the roller speed, and customize the self-cleaning and drying functions. For example, you can make the base automatically clean as soon as the vacuum sets in. You can select the intensity of the self-cleaning, and even set how long you want the rollers to dry. And here’s the tricky part. The default setting is 3 hours. I checked the rollers after drying, and they were slightly damp. I set it to 6 hours, and after the 6-hour drying, the rollers were already completely dry, so I still recommend adjusting the settings in the app. In addition, you can set up do-not disturb times, a drying schedule, view stats, choose the language, and see your water level. All in all, it definitely has an awesome app.
Testing
Finally, let’s get to the tests. Let’s check how well Roborock Dyad Pro does its main job – cleaning the floor. I’ll do a few tests, from easy to harder. The vacuum does well with everyday cleaning. In Auto mode, it independently adjusts the suction power, depending on how dirty the floor is. It sucks the liquid thoroughly into the tank with dirty water, leaving zero streaks or puddles.
Also, the vacuum can collect liquids, in my case, a mix of raw egg and flour. Very cool. The vacuum scrubs the dirt with no streaks and traces. And as I mentioned before, Roborock Dyad Pro can scrub dirt up to the baseboards, thanks to the roller design that goes to the edge of the body.
But it’s hard to scrub difficult stains. It will take some time. I removed the stains in about 5 minutes, and I used the brand’s liquid.
Picking up dirt wasn’t a problem, Roborock Dyad Pro is able to suck up all kinds of trash along the baseboard and in corners. It left no blind spots, which we also saw with Roborock Dyad. That’s when you understand why you have to change the rollers.
Even carpets can be cleaned with this vacuum if you want. But keep in mind that in this case it’s better to use the floor drying mode, so you don’t wet your carpets.
One last thing, I wanted to check the self-cleaning quality. So, after all of the tests, I drained the dirty water from the tank, poured in clean water and turned on the deep self-cleaning function. The rollers are really clean and so is the platform itself, which is where the vacuum cleaner self-cleans. But there is a small blind spot between the short rollers. It doesn’t seem to wash out in any way and it’s good to know. But with everyday cleaning, it’s pretty good and I have no problems with it. As I said before, roller drying is better at 6 hours.

Roborock Dyad Pro Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum was thoroughly reviewed and tested. First, I’ll give the pros and cons, and then share my opinion on the robot overall. I liked the following:

As for what could be better, I don’t really have anything to say. The only thing that can be highlighted is the non-removable battery. But for me personally, it’s not that essential.. A big leap in development is the introduction of the roller dryer function, which was missing so much in the previous model, and in the rest of the cleaners, which appeared in 2022 and earlier. And the tank with the detergent makes it easier to use the vacuum. Overall, Roborock, as always, is ahead of the world, and we’re waiting for these features to pop up in other vacuums. Roborock has my respect, and I’d definitely recommend the vacuum. I would even consider it one of the best in 2023, if not the best.
On that note I’d Like to end the review. If you still have questions, make sure to ask them in the comments below. Have fun shopping, bye!
