Hey guys, welcome to Robotobzor! Today we’ll be reviewing the wet and dry vacuum cleaner Roborock Flexi Pro. The new product has a number of advanced design features, most prominently the function to lock in a horizontal position, so that the vacuum cleaner can be climbed to clean under furniture. Also, the updated cleaner is equipped with a function of automatic power increase, illumination of the cleaned area, steerable wheels and the ability to adjust the parameters through the company’s application. In addition to the updated station, the vacuum now self-cleans the roller with hot water and dries with warm air. At first glance, the Roborock Flexi Pro is fully charged by 2024’s standards. Now, I’ll test it in detail, highlight the pros and cons based on the results, and then let you know if I think this is the right robot for you!. The price of the Roborock Flexi Pro, at the time of this video, is around $500, which puts it in the premium price range. Don’t forget to like and subscribe, and let’s get rolling!

Kit
Let’s start with the kit. The vacuum came in this branded box:
The package includes the vacuum cleaner itself with station, power adapter, cleaning tool, spare HEPA-filter and instruction manual.
Appearance
Let’s check out how the Roborock Flexi Pro works! First up is the cleaning module. It’s got a single roller that reaches to the edges on both sides, making sure no spot is missed. Unlike the earlier Roborock Dyad Pro, it has side clips to lock the roller in place. And the best part?
There’s a light on the front to help you see better and pick up all the dirt.
The top cover is removable, and the roller can be removed on the side. It’s mounted on a special holder. The roller’s design is pretty familiar to me, with soft bristles. Behind the roller we see a full-width comb, a squeegee and a suction hole in the center.
Above are the water tanks. There is a 730 ml (24.6 Oz.) clean water tank in the front. In it you can see the coarse water filter.
The 450 ml (15.2 Oz.) dirty water tank has a meshed HEPA filter, a set of sensors to monitor the water level and a coarse filter.
On top of the handle are two control buttons, with an info display above them. The two buttons are conveniently placed under the thumb: power on/off and mode switching. There are three of them: eco, auto and max. In auto mode Roborock Flexi Pro independently adjusts the suction power when it detects dirt. The button to start self cleaning the vacuum is in front of the handle.
Speaking of the station, it charges the cleaner, self-cleans the roller with hot water and dries it with warm air. The water temperature for washing the roller reaches 60 degrees (140 F.). When drying, the temperature is up to (55 degrees 131 F.).
Overall we can see that they have completely updated the design when comparing it to the Dyad series. I’ll highlight the pros and cons of this update at the end.
Technical features
Roborock Flexi Pro’s main features, as given by the manufacturer, are up on the screen:
- Battery: Li-Ion, 4000 mA*h
- Power: 260 Wt.
- Suction power: up to 17000 Pa
- Charging up to 4 hours
- Cleaning time: up to 50 mins
- Clean water tank: 730 ml (24.6 Oz.)
- Dirty water tank: 450 ml (15.2 oz.)
- Volume: 72-74 dB
Compared to the Dyad Pro, the suction power is the same, but the water tanks are smaller. However, it runs for a bit longer. I personally checked the noise level, and it’s around 72-74 dB, depending on the mode. It’s also a little quieter than the previous model.
Functions
Now, let’s see what Roborock Flexi Pro can do. You can connect it to the brand’s app for easy control.
The app lets you choose from three cleaning modes or set it to automatic, adjusting things like wheel speed, suction power, how wet the roller gets, and how fast it spins. You can even customize the self-cleaning station, picking the cleaning mode, water temperature, and roller drying speed. Plus, you can schedule roller drying, manage the voice control from the robot, and track how much disposables you have left. Overall, the app makes using this robot super convenient!
Testing
Video review:
And finally, let’s get to testing. Let’s see how well this robot does its main task- cleaning floors. I’ll do a couple tests testing it effectiveness going from easy to harder tests.
The vacuum does well with everyday floor cleaning. In auto mode, it independently adjusts the suction power, depending on two dirty the floor is. The liquid is thoroughly sucked into the dirty water tank, no streaks and puddles remain. It also shows how the backlight works in complete darkness. Not as much as the Dyson, but it too greatly enhances the detection of debris on the floor.
Here’s how Roborock Flexi Pro cleans under furniture. Because of its size, it can fit under spaces with a 15 cm (5.9 in.) clearance. But, in most homes (including mine), furniture usually has about a 10 cm (3.9 in.) gap, so it’s not super convenient for every spot.
However, if you’ve got areas it can fit, it’ll be a handy feature. One thing to note: when it’s fully horizontal, the suction either shuts off or drops to a low level, which in my opinion isn’t all that good. But give it a try yourself and see what you think in the comments down below!
You can also use the vacuum to pick up liquids or mixes, in my case raw eggs and flour, which is very handy. This vacuum scrubs off dirt very well, leaving no streaks and traces.
Here I’ll only add that because of the fact that the roller edges have fixators, there’s a 8 mm (.34 in.) blindspot.
Difficult dried stains are no match either. Since we didn’t receive detergent in this kit, i only tested with water. And even with just water, Roborock Flexi Pro cleaned the floor up in 5.5 minutes. This is very good, considering most vacuums take 8-10 minutes.
I also checked how well this vacuum picks up different types of dirt, and here’s what I found: its design limits it from big stuff —the roller is too close to the scraper. But for smaller things like dust, hair, crumbs, or pet fur, the Roborock Flexi Pro is great. Plus, it doesn’t miss the corners!
Since the Roborock Flexi Pro doesn’t have a liquid suction mode and its roller isn’t designed for carpets, I wouldn’t recommend cleaning them. You could try using it in eco mode, but there’s a good chance the carpet will end up wet and dirty.
Overall, carpets just aren’t its thing. The last thing I checked was the self-cleaning feature.
After all the messy tests, I drained the dirty water, added clean water, and used the deep self-cleaning mode. The rollers came out super clean, even after scrubbing tough stains like sauce. The platform was just as clean. When I tested it at home with something tricky like raw eggs, the self-cleaning wasn’t perfect but still as good as other high-end vacuums. The drying feature is actually great—after just 30 minutes of fast drying, the roller was almost dry, and with deep drying, it was fully dry with warm air.
Opinion
So today we’ve reviewed the vertical vacuum Roborock Flexi Pro. Now I’ll highlight the pros and cons. Here’s what I liked:
- Can scrub even difficult stains faster than most other vacuums.
- Scrubs stains close to the baseboard.
- Self-cleaning roller with hot water.
- Full and very fast drying of the roller with hot air.
- Can be tilted to a fully horizontal position.
- Automatic power increase mode.
- High suction power, based on the manufacturer’s statement.
- Area is backlighted to be cleaned easier.
- Convenient setting of cleaning parameters through the app.
- Notifications and voice alerts in several languages.
- Motors in the wheels make it easier to use, the vacuum is even easier to manage.
- Overall, ergonomic and stylish design.
- Availability of warranty and service.
From the disadvantages I would like to emphasize:
- There is still a small blind spot between the edge of the roller and the baseboard, and it is larger than that of the Roborock Dyad Pro.
- Suction is disabled in the horizontal position.
- No automatic detergent addition function.
- Not capable of picking up large dirt from the floor.
- Not suitable for carpet cleaning.
- Non-removable battery.
- Given the price, it doesn’t transform into a dry vacuum cleaner like the Dreame H12 Dual and some other models in the range.
Overall, my top concerns are the top three disadvantages. The others are typical for many upright vacuum cleaners. If none of my problems affect you, then I definitely recommend taking a look at this vacuum. In my opinion, Roborock Flexi Pro is one of the best wet and dry vacuum cleaners of 2024. As a vacuum, it is efficient, smart, ergonomic and functional. What more do you need?
