Hey guys, welcome back to RobotObzor! Today we’ll review another new robot vacuum, the Roborock Qrevo Pro. This is an in between version of the younger Qrevo S and older Qrevo MaxV. Compared with the frontrunner MaxV, they took away the lifting Turbobrushes, the brand’s voice assistant «Hello, Rocky!» has been removed, along with remote home monitoring. This brought the price down by about $150-200 . With this, for $900-1000, the robot received some new features, such as bringing the cloth all the way to the baseboard, water heating at the station while cleaning wipes, and a 7000 Pa motor. Now, I’ll throughly go over everything this robot can do, test it, and let you know what I think. Don’t forget to like and subscribe, and let’s get rolling!

Kit
The robot came in this branded box:
Along with the robot and the station, the kit includes a power cord, two wipe holders, a spare bag for the station and an instruction manual. Petty standard, let’s move on!
Appearance
Let’s take a look at how the Roborock Qrevo Pro works. Starting with the vacuum itself, its round and comes in black and white.
On the right is a wall sensor, and in the center an object detection system of cameras.
The technology, called Reactive Tech Obstacle Avoidance, is the same as in the previous Roborock Q Revo. There’s no active camera, meaning its impossible to remotely look after your house.
The navigation is based on Lidar, and is [protected by a spring loaded cover to help it not get stuck under furniture. There’s two buttons on the control panel.
The dust container is under the top cover. It holds up to 330 ml (11.2 Oz.) of dry dirt. The manufacturer lets you to rinse the container and filter with water. The filtration system is only based on a HEPA-filter.
The 80 ml ( 2.7 Oz.) water tank is hidden in the body and isn’t removable. The water is pumped automatically through the station. The robot has 4 anti-fall sensors at the bottom. There is a carpet detection sensor next to the roller. There is one side brush: three-beamed, and screw fixed.
The center brush unit is floating. It comes with one turbo brush, one silicone, and can be disassembled on both sides.
The wipes are generic, but the material itself is much denser than most vacuums. Behind one of the holders, the right one, we see a mechanism, thanks to which the wipe moves out to the edge of the case, like in Roborock QrevoMaxV. This eliminates the blind spot between the edge of the cloth and the baseboard, so that the robot can better clean the floor along the walls and furniture.
I’ll note that the wipe holders automatically lift 10 mm (0.39 In.) clean the dirt container, wash the wipes with hot water and dry them with warm air.
The station also automatically detects how dirty the wipes are to rewash or wash a particularly dirty area.
The robot’s driveway and the tray where the wipes are washed are removable. This is VERY convenient for cleaning and maintaining the station.
The 2.7 Liter (0.71 G.) trash bag is in the front under the lid.
The water tanks are pretty spacious too. The clean water tank holds 4 Liters ( 1.75 G.), while the dirty tank holds 3.5 liters (0.92 G.).
No word yet on connecting the station to the utilities, however I am looking forward to it! Overall, some of the main differences between Roborock Qrevo and Roborock Qrevo S iare the cloth extension mechanism,, increased height of lifting the holders above the floor and washing the cloths with hot water at the station. In my opinion, these are very important improvements.

Functions
As for the functions, the robot is controlled via the Roborock app. It’s easy to connect.
The main functions of Roborock Qrevo Pro:
- Self-cleaning the dirt container in the station.
- Wipes are cleaned with hot water.
- Wipes are dried with warm air.
- The water is refilled in the robot through the station.
- Automatically detects how dirty an area is.
- Wipe extends to the baseboard.
- Object detection system.
- Saves multiple maps in memory.
- Automatically zones the area into rooms.
- Choose zones and rooms to clean individually.
- Virtual walls and no go zones (as well as for mopping).
- Suction power regulation.
- Wipe wetness regulation.
- Intensive mopping mode
- User mode.
- SmartPlan.
- Cleaning log.
- Cleaning schedule.
- Automatic power increase on carpets.
- Carpet avoidance when mopping.
- Wipe lift on carpets.
- Supports voice assistant.
The new SmartPlan mode lets the robot automatically adjust its cleaning settings based on the type of flooring, room, and other factors. This means you can easily customize how it cleans to fit your needs. One thing to note is that the Qrevo Pro doesn’t have the “Hello, Rocky!” voice assistant, which is a feature available on the older Qrevo MaxV model.
Testing
Video review Roborock Qrevo Pro:
Navigation
Finally, let’s get to testing! First, let’s check Roborock Qrevo Pro’s navigation in a room with obstacles. When entering the room, the robot first went around the box for some reason, then moved to the perimeter, and then cleaned the entire available area in a zig zag. The clothes dryer didn’t stop it, it went around all 4 chair legs separately, then returned to base. Test passed with flying colors!
As for the rest of the house, the robot goes first around the perimeter, then in a zig zag. Every 20 minutes, as specified in the settings, the robot returns to the station and cleans the wipes, then returns to clean from where it stopped. Everything is left clean, and so the navigation is superb!
Obstacle detection and avoidance
I separately tested how well the robot detects and avoids objects on the floor by placing various household items in its path. In good lighting, the Roborock Qrevo Pro only managed to avoid 1 out of 6 objects. It ended up running over imitation pet poo, a wire, a sock, a floor scale, and a sneaker.
It had the same trouble the second time around. In comparison, the first-generation Qrevo did a much better job, successfully avoiding 5 out of 6 items. It only ran over the fake imitation pet poo. In complete darkness it went around 3/6 objects.
This may have to do something with me receiving this back in May directly from the factory. Probably, by the start of sales updates will correct the situation, and the robot will orient itself at the level of the younger Qrevo.
It should be noted that the sensors on the bumper can only detect objects on the floor and display them with icons on the map, but the robot can’t recognize what exactly lies on the floor, like in MaxV-versions. Take into account that this model has no AI.
Suction power
And it proved it’s high suction power. The robot got dirt out of 10 mm (.39 In.) cracks, while the regular version of Roborock Qrevo showed a result of 6 mm (0.23 In.). So the updated model is much more powerful, which is awesome!
Vacuuming on the laminate
It did well picking up different dirt on the laminate. It left a bit in the corners, standard for round vacuums. And it’s important to pay attention to the fact that the center brush isn’t tangled with hair or fur. They are a bit coiled only on the side brush, but the rest of the dirt is in the container. That’s a plus!
Carpet cleaning
The same dirt was scattered on a low carpet. And I can say that Roborock Qrevo Pro cleaned the carpet thoroughly. It can also get to medium carpets, just not as well. It’s all about the fact that silicone turbo brushes are still a bit inferior in picking up dirt on carpets to the usual bristle-petal brush.
Self-cleaning
Immediately after the “dirty tests”, I checked how well the robot self-cleaned. I returned it to the station and started self-cleaning. And the results are excellent. The dirt bag is completely cleaned out, and so I can full heartedly say that it has been well implemented in this model!
Mopping
The robot does a great job of wiping off slightly dried dirt. The cloth presses firmly against the floor and picks up the dirt well.
When it comes to tougher stains, like dried coffee and sauce, the robot can clean them too. It might take a few tries—about seven in this case, but it eventually gets the job done. Compared to other models and older versions, this is still pretty impressive.
Blind spot
As for the blind spot between the edge of the cloth and the baseboard or furniture, its completely gone, thanks to the extendable wipe. This is a great addition!
Mopping and carpets
When it comes to cleaning carpets, the Roborock Qrevo Pro offers a few different options. It can avoid carpets while wet cleaning, or it can move over them and clean them gently. If you prefer, it can also automatically lift the cloth when it goes over carpets so they don’t get too wet. This flexibility lets you choose the best way for the robot to handle your carpets.
Mop cleaning quality
Let’s talk about how well the cleaning station works. The wipes come out looking much cleaner after being washed at the station, even after some rough tests. The station uses heated water to clean more effectively. Most of the dirt comes out thanks to the warm water.
Cleaning the station itself is easy. Just remove the tray and trap, rinse them in the sink, and put them back, easy as that.
Obstacles
It does great off road, going over 2 cm (0.79 In.) thresholds.
Dark spaces
There are no problems with driving over black areas. The robot moves across the black carpet as if nothing had happened.
Volume
Well, as for the volume, it stays within the range of 55-67 dB depending on the selected mode. I can say that this is a pretty quiet robot, considering the high power.
Opinion
We’ve reviewed and tested the Roborock Qrevo Pro robot vacuum cleaner in detail. It scored 189 points on our algorithm, which is a solid result. For comparison, the older Roborock Qrevo MaxV scored 202 points, and the latest Q Revo scored 174 points. I’ve included a link to the evaluation details and overall ratings in the description down below. Next, I’ll go over the pros and cons of the Qrevo Pro and share my personal thoughts on it.
Rating: https://robotobzor.com/ratings/general-rating-of-robot-vacuum-cleaners.html.
I liked the following:
- High suction power.
- Wipe extends to the edge of the baseboard.
- A self-cleaning station for vacuuming, washing and drying cloths, which effectively copes with all its tasks.
- Pretty spacious tanks in the station.
- Easy to maintain design.
- Good navigation.
- The silicon turbobrush gets hair and fur easier.
- Improved wipe lift when driving onto carpets.
- Quality vacuuming and mopping on hard surfaces.
- Capable of scrubbing even difficult stains.
- Lots of features in the app.
- Not afraid of dark areas.
- Good off-road.
- Quality assembly and high brand credibility.
- Availability of full warranty and service support.
- Object detection system, thanks to which the robot is more careful in avoiding objects, compared to vacuums without sensors and cameras on the bumper.
As for what could be improved:
- No object recognition, only detection with the sensors.
- Object detection system needs to be improved.
- No active camera for remote monitoring of the house.
- There are problems with cleaning medium carpets.
- Station can’t be connected to the utilities.
- There is no automatic detergent adding in the station.
- Does not sweep out dirt in corners.
Overall, I can say that the Roborock Qrevo Pro is a powerful robot vacuum cleaner with quality mopping with no blind spots and a full-fledged robot self-service station. For many, this could be the beginner version for the Qrevo lineup as the best option, as the only major difference from the Roborock Qrevo MaxV is the lack of remote home monitoring and a less accurate object detection system. At the same time, the price difference can reach $200, which is enough to make you consider.
