You should be more than satisfied with your cleaning quality if you so chose to buy one of these robots. But which one, is up to you to decide, based on the functions, price, and the pros and cons of each robot. I will go over all of this info in the video. But please remember, that there is no perfect robot, although some are close! Don’t forget to like and subscribe after the video, and let’s get rolling!

Here’s the TOP-5 best robot vacuums 2023, in my opinion:

  1. Dreame Bot X20 Pro Plus/X10 Pro
  2. Ecovacs Deebot T20 Pro
  3. Dreame Bot L10s Ultra
  4. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
  5. Hobot LEGEE D8 LuLu

Now, let’s get to know each one!

Dreame Bot X20 Pro Plus

Тechnical features:

  • Navigation: Lidar + object recognition system.
  • Battery Li-Ion 6400 mA*h.
  • Suction power up to 7000 PA.
  • Work time up to 210 mins.
  • Dirt container 350 ml (11.8 Oz.).
  • Water tank 80ml (2.7 Oz.).
  • Tanks on base: 4,5 + 4 L (1.1+1 G).
  • Bag on base: 3,2 L (.84.G)
  • Robot size: 350*104 mm (13.7×4 In.).
  • Base size: 499*426*607 mm (19.6×16.7×23.8 In.).
  • Price: ≈$1200.

I think that the best robot vacuum of 2023 is Dreame Bot X20 Pro Plus. It has the most up to date solutions and functions all for a price of just $1200.

Dreame Bot X20 Pro Plus
Dreame Bot X20 Pro Plus

It has a very powerful motor, the wipe comes to close contact with the baseboard and furniture while doing its rotations. The wipes not only automatically lift on carpets, but also completely unhook at the base for a thorough dry clean. Plus, Dreame Bot X20 Pro Plus can accurately recognize objects on the floor, even in the dark with the help of camera backlighting. You can remotely track the house on your phone. And the station gives the robot a full clean, cleaning the bag, rinsing the cloth with hot water and spraying detergent, and drying the cloth with hot air. And more importantly – the station connects to the sewer and water supply.

During our tests, Dreame Bot X20 Pro Plus showed very high results, so given its functions, it’s undoubtedly the best robot vacuum in 2023. Actually, it shares the podium with its simplified version, Dreame Bot X10 Pro. I can say that this is the coolest thing you can buy. There’s no retractable platform with a napkin, but in theory they should implement the algorithm of scrubbing along the baseboard, as seen in Dreame Bot L10s Ulta, and then the difference between these robots will be minimal, but the price of X10 Pro is 20 thousand rubles less. So you can safely choose one of these robots.

There is one very important disadvantage of the model though – it’s designed for the Chinese market. There are ways to bypass regional blocking on the web, and they still work successfully. But, of course, this still stops many from buying it. Personally, I can say that I use Dreame Bot X20 Pro Plus and am very satisfied with it. But if you aren’t ready to take the risk, there’s still more robots in the ranking, which can be bought officially and can function without a problem. Or it makes sense to wait for the release of the global version, but the price tag will be completely different. You have to decide for yourself what you value more.

Ecovacs Deebot T20 Pro

Тechnical features:

  • Navigation: Lidar + object DETECTION system.
  • Battery Li-Ion 6000 mA*h.
  • Suction power up to 6000 PA.
  • Dirt container 400 ml (13.5 Oz.).
  • Water tank 80ml (2.7 Oz.).
  • Tanks on base: 4,5 + 4 L (1+1 G).
  • Bag on base: 3 L (.79.G)
  • Robot size: 362*103 mm (14.2×4 In.)
  • Base size: 430*450*580 mm (16.9x17x22.8 In.)
  • Price: ≈$880-$1150.

And second place goes to Ecovacs Deebot T20 Pro.

Ecovacs Deebot T20 Pro

It truly is a very powerful robot, which can scrub and wash the floor close to the baseboard, thanks to a special movement mode. It also has a system of accurate obstacle avoidance, it can lift its wipe when driving on carpets and a combined station, which I’ll briefly stop on. At the station, the robot self-cleans the dirt bin, washes the wipes with warm water, dries the wipes with warm air, and also sanitizes garbage and clean water. The tanks themselves in the station are bigger, which is especially important in large areas. Well, and most importantly – the station can be connected to the sewage and water supply, having purchased the appropriate module. It even has a compartment for auto detergent supply when washing wipes.

Overall, Ecovacs Deebot T20 Pro is a cleaning beast, which can be bought for $880-1150. It cleans really well, both sucking up dirt and washing the floor. One of the most efficient robots on the market. And from a rusted brand at that.

Dreame Bot L10s Ultra

Тechnical features:

  • Navigation: Lidar + object recognition system.
  • Battery Li-Ion 5200 mA*h.
  • Suction power up to 5300 PA.
  • Work time up to 210 mins.
  • Cleaning area up to 200 sq.m (656 ft.).
  • Dirt container 350 ml (11.8 Oz.).
  • Water tank 80ml (2.7 Oz.).
  • Tanks on base: 2.5 + 2.5 L (.66+.66 G).
  • Bag on base: 3 L (.79.G).
  • Robot size: 350*97 mm (13.7×3.8 In.).
  • Base size: 423*340*568 mm (16.6×13.3×22.3 In.).
  • Price: ≈$935-$1200.

Closing the top 3 is Dreame Bot L10s Ultra. Despite there being more updated models on the Chinese market in the Dreame brand, this model at the time of rating is the best of the officially presented global versions. And for those who don’t want to bother with bypassing regional blockages, I strongly recommend you research this model.

Ranging from $935-$1,200, this unit boasts lidar, an accurate object recognition system, a wipe that lifts n when driving onto carpets, and a combination station where the robot self-cleans, washes and dries wipes. An additional feature is an active camera that can be used to remotely monitor the home if needed.Furthermore, the new firmware update added the ability to scrub dirt close to the baseboard, implementing a special algorithm of movement – where the rear drives when going around the perimeter. In terms of how well it cleans, Dreame Bot L10s Ultra is exquisite. I myself have used this robot for about half a year and was satisfied with its efficiency and ease of use. In tests, the robot also performed well. There are some things, but nothing harsh. Well, and being on the market for almost a year, it has managed to get its fair share of reviews, mostly positive. So this time-tested, effective robot belongs along the premium vacuums.

Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, which costs around $1200!

The robot gave up not nearly enough points to its predecessor for any real downsides, which deserves applause and an award for one of the best in 2022, and competing in 2023. However, the new product has a number of important upgrades that, in my opinion, weigh in favor of choosing this model. The key feature is that Roborock S8 Pro Ultra has two silicone turbo brushes to effectively pick up dirt on different surfaces. These brushes can be lifted while mopping so that water doesn’t accidentally get into the dust collector and god forbid the motor. A very smart decision. Mopping happens with a wipe, which has a double vibration module and auto lift when driving on carpets. The robot itself has a system for recognizing objects on the floor and lidar for navigation. And, of course, it comes with a station where Roborock S8 Pro Ultra self-cleans the dirt bag, refills the tank with water, washes the cloth and dries it with warm air. In tests, the robot did well. My only concern is the power, but I touch on this more in the review. Given Roborock’s authority, their robot just couldn’t hide from the top robot vacuums of 2023. If you don’t mind any of my remarks, then this is definitely up for consideration.

Hobot LEGEE D8 LuLu

Тechnical features::

  • Navigation: Lidar.
  • Battery Li-Ion 4900 mA*h.
  • Suction power up to 5000 PA.
  • Cleaning area up to 300 sq.m (984 ft.).
  • Work time up to 180 mins.
  • Dirt container 500 ml (16.9 Oz.).
  • Water tank while working 320ml (10.8 Oz.).
  • Tanks on base: 3.2 + 3.2 L (.84+.84 G).
  • Cloth vibrations: 1300 times per minute.
  • Robot size: 340*339*98 mm (13.3×13.3×3.8 In.).
  • Base size: 486*410*390 mm (19x16x15.3 In.).
  • Price: ≈$715.

And please turn your attention to Hobot LEGEE-D8, which can already be ordered with the new Hobot LuLu station. The complete set will cost $715.

For this price you get a robot vacuum that automatically washes and dries the cloth at the station, refills its tank with water, scrubs away dirt with a vibrating cloth that has proven effective in tests, thoroughly sweeps away debris in corners thanks to its D-shaped body, lifts its cloth on carpets, plays fun voice notifications, and even that’s not all! Consider the pre-collection of light dirt and hair before the turbo brush, ECO Compactor, the ability to clean behind curtains and drapes, which most other lidar robots can’t do, and a large number of features in the app that allow you to flexibly customize how you clean.

In tests, the robot did spectacularly, showing high quality cleaning on different surfaces. Another plus here – you can first order the robot itself, and later, if necessary, a separate station. This is a foreign concept in relation to the other models. Well, the manufacturer notes the absence of a camera on the bumper as a protection measure, so no one spies on you. Overall, it’s worth it for its price, and can be considered the best in terms of price to function ratio. There are some negatives, but they are greatly outweighed by the positives.

And so, we’ve reviewed the best robot vacuums of 2023. Hopefully, out of these 5 you could pick out at least one to your liking. If you still have questions, please ask them in the comments down below. Have fun shopping, bye!
