The best self-emptying robot vacuum cleaners in 2023

Best self-cleaning robot vacuum cleaners Ratings

Hey guys, welcome to Robobot Obzor! Today, we’re reviewing the Best Self-Emptying Robot Vacuums in 2023, which have self-cleaning stations that make cleaning a breeze. These stations automatically empty dirt into a bag, increasing the robot’s autonomy. You won’t need to manually empty the dust container after every 2-3 cleaning sessions. Simply change the bag every two months and do a standard check, including cleaning the brushes, wipes, and HEPA filter. I’ve made a top 10 list across different price ranges to help you find the right fit for your needs and budget. I’ll highlight the pros and cons of each model, with detailed reviews linked in the video description. Remember, even though technology is improving, no robot is yet perfect. I’ll review the most basic robots to those that can almost call themselves perfect.

Opening our rating is the only robot exclusively made for dry cleaning – Samsung Jet Bot+ (Samsung VR30T85513W/EV).

The robot is equipped with lidar for navigation and is controlled through a mobile app. The cleaning module, which is represented by a tufted turbo brush with rubber inserts, as well as a frame equipped with metal blades to cut through coiled hair and wool, is definitely a sight for the eyes. Given the brush design and test results, this self-emptying robot vacuum is recommended for cleaning on hard floors. It also has a high suction power and a low volume. Add to this the high quality of assembly, as well as the availability of a full warranty and service from a reliable manufacturer, and we got ourselves an awesome catch, if again – you’re not interested in carpet cleaning or mopping. The price is quite adequate, given that it is Samsung – 500-530$.

iLIFE T10s
iLIFE T10s

It uses Lidar to navigate and can be controlled through your phone. It not only vacuums but also mops your floors. And there is even a special scrubber mode, in which the robot vacuum cleaner moves along a Y-shaped trajectory, more effectively scrubbing dirt. The vacuuming quality is stunning. But here’s the real kicker – it’s usually priced around $350, but during sales, you can get it for just $235. That’s a fantastic deal for a self-emptying robot vacuum. Plus, iLIFE knows its stuff when it comes to budget-friendly robots, so it’s a solid choice if you’re on a tight budget.

Midea S8+ is another self-emptying vacuum that’s optimal in terms of price and functionality.

Midea S8+
Midea S8+

It boasts a large number of important design fixes. This is first of all in reality a powerful motor, thanks to which the robot qualitatively vacuums both on hard surfaces and carpets. Plus, the device has a module for wet cleaning with a vibration platform, which scrubs dirt on the floor really well, including the complex. Well, and of course lidar, which allows Midea S8+ to clean large areas. The tests show that it cleans really well. The app has a large number of functions for flexible customization of cleaning parameters. And we can’t leave out that it doesn’t look or feel cheap. The materials are of high quality. Although – online are reviews about various breakdowns after a few months of operation. Representatives of the brand promptly solve all problems, but nevertheless, they are there. Perhaps, of course, the problems were more at the start of sales, in the first batches sold. In general, before buying, it’s better to read fresh reviews. Considering the price, which starts at $400, I can say that the offer is pretty good.

  • Station size: 380*220*180 mm (14.9×8.6×7 In.)
  • Price: ≈300-390$.

The 360 company, which specializes in vacuums, has released an interesting model. In my opinion, the best in terms of price and functionality. The 360 Botslab S8 Plus.

360 Botslab S8 Plus
360 Botslab S8 Plus

I don’t have the specific version with self-emptying, but I did have the robot vacuum 360 S8 itself, which differs only in that it has a charging base, not a station for self-emptying. The robot has lidar, a mopping function, and quite a familiar design. But in this model I am more impressed by the functionality. 360 Botslab S8 Plus can clean behind curtains and drapes, which almost all lidar robots on the market can’t. It also supports a creative voice package in the style of a robot whirlwind, and at the same time drives a little tighter into corners to sweep out trash. The quality of dry and wet cleaning is good, the app adapts to many languages, and the full warranty and service lifts a load off your shoulders. Overall, definitely one of the best self-emptying robots at a price of about $ 400.

  • Price: ≈365-400$.

Dreame offers a budget-friendly yet effective self-emptying robot- the Dreame Bot D10 Plus.

Dreame Bot D10 Plus
Dreame Bot D10 Plus

Unlike some fancier models, it doesn’t have features like object detection or lifting the wipe on carpets. This helps keep the price down, usually around $365 to $400, and even lower during sales. However, it compensates with strong suction power, excellent dirt pickup on various surfaces, and a mopping function. The robot is well-built, has user-friendly software, and is backed by official representatives who offer warranty and service support. The Dreame Bot D10 Plus can be considered a solid choice for most people. The only drawback is its basic wet cleaning capability. The water reservoir is small, and the mop doesn’t press firmly on the floor. So, it’s better at dusting and picking up debris that the brush missed. If you primarily need a budget robot vacuum for dry cleaning, this model is really worth considering.

ECOVACS DEEBOT T9 AIVI Plus
ECOVACS DEEBOT T9 AIVI Plus

This robot offers an impressive range of advanced features for its price, which typically falls between $475 and $540. Here’s what makes it stand out: it has an active camera for remote tracking and object identification on the floor, a vibration platform for effective floor scrubbing, a module for adding a pleasant aroma to your room, and two silicone turbo brushes similar to the top-rated iRobot robots. Plus, it boasts the most powerful motor and two side brushes for thorough cleaning. ECOVACS is a reputable brand that specializes exclusively in cleaning robots, adding to its reliability. The only drawback is regionalization, as ECOVACS DEEBOT T9 AIVI Plus is primarily made for the Chinese market. This can result in some minor connectivity issues, which are explained in a separate review. However, if you’re not deterred by this, I strongly recommend considering this model. It’s unquestionably a top choice for its price point!

Dreame Bot D10s Plus
Dreame Bot D10s Plus

This robot comes with a powerful motor, a silicone turbo brush that makes cleaning hair and fur easy, a mopping function, an accurate object detection system, and a remote home tracking camera. The app offers flexible cleaning settings, and there’s official distributors, ensuring full warranty and service support. Dreame is a top-notch brand in the vacuum market, which means the Dreame Bot D10s Plus boasts high-quality construction and well-designed software. In testing, it proved to be highly effective for dry cleaning on both hard surfaces and carpets. While its wet cleaning function is better at enhancing dry cleaning and collecting fine dust left behind by the brush, its navigation and artificial intelligence are top-notch. The robot excels at recognizing objects on the floor and navigating around them during the cleaning process While there are a few minor quibbles, the positives outweigh any negatives, and the price is quite reasonable, ranging from $400 to $450. Considering it’s a self-emptying robot vacuum, this price is quite reasonable given current exchange rates.
