Hi everyone! Today we will review Dreame H11 Max washing cordless vacuum cleaner. The device appeared on the market at the end of 2021 and we can definitely say that in 2022 it is one of the best in its segment. At a price around $500, the Dreame H11 Max is equipped with a powerful engine, ergonomic design, and advanced functionality. Next, I will test this cordless upright vacuum cleaner in detail to find out how well it copes with its main task and whether it is worth its money. Let`s go!

The set is complete. There are all the necessary accessories and a big plus that the manufacturer has added a special detergent to the kit. Let`s move on!
Design
Let`s see how the Dreame H11 Max wet/dry cordless vacuum cleaner is designed. Let’s start the review with the cleaning module. The roller is located behind a transparent cover, which is fixed on both sides. The structure of the roller is represented by a soft pile. Behind the roller, in front of the suction hole, there is a comb for untangling hair and wool. Below, again, behind the roller, there is a scraper to collect liquid and debris from the floor. Here we see that the roller does not come out to the very edge, so, most likely, this device is not able to perfectly wash the area along the plinth, which we will check in tests.
Above the cleaning module there is a tank for dirty water. A HEPA filter with a mesh is installed inside, as well as a system of sensors to control the liquid level. When the tank is filled with dirty water, Dreame H11 Max will notify you to drain it.
A bit higher there is a tank for clean water. On top of it is a hole with a sealed valve for pouring water. A coarse filter is installed inside.
Above this tank is a very informative LED display. It displays the percentage of battery charge, operating mode, service messages, as well as a light indicator around the display, signaling the level of suction power.
It is worth noting right away that Dreame H11 Max is able to automatically increase the suction power depending on the degree of floor contamination. Unfortunately, you cannot manually adjust the power.
There are three mechanical control buttons on the handle: power on and off, switching between two operating modes (automatic and liquid collection), as well as starting the self-cleaning function when the vacuum cleaner is installed on the charging station.
It is important to note that there is another mechanical button on the back, which is responsible for switching the language of voice packages. Dreame H11 Max supports voice alerts in several languages.
Here is how the vacuum cleaner looks like when fully assembled. It is also worth pointing out that the Dreame H11 Max supports vertical parking outside the station.
Specifications
The main characteristics of the Dreame H11 Max, declared by the manufacturer, are displayed on the screen. I recommend to pause the video for a comfortable study of the information:

- Noise level: 72-72.5 dB.

Here it is important to highlight a high-capacity battery. The suction strength is not specified by the manufacturer but will be partially verified it in tests. The noise level was checked personally. It is in the range of 72-72.5 dB. The device works enough quietly, as for washing cordless vacuum cleaners.
Testing
Suction power
Well, actually, let’s move on to the tests. First of all, let’s check the suction power of the Dreame H11 Max. I didn’t fill in the water to check how well the vacuum cleaner sucks up the garbage in “dry” conditions. So, the vacuum cleaner managed to suck out debris from cracks up to 10 mm deep, which is at the level of conventional vertical vacuum cleaners for dry cleaning. So far, I can say that this is a really powerful vacuum cleaner.
Garbage collection on laminate
Speaking of collecting different types of debris on laminate flooring, Dreame H11 Max can easily cope with this task. It is able to suck up not only small household debris, but also wool with hair. It is important to note that the roller practically does not wrap wool and hair around itself. Test passed successfully!
Carpet cleaning
This vacuum cleaner is not suitable for cleaning carpets for two reasons. The first is that there is no special brush for cleaning carpets in the kit. Second, the water supply can`t be turned off. However, with a dry roller and no clean water in the tank, I still checked if the Dreame H11 Max could handle this task. So, it still collected garbage and wool, but, due to the lack of water and a full-fledged vacuum, all the garbage remained behind the roller, and not in a special tank. So, I don`t advice to clean the carpets with this washing vacuum cleaner, it is not actually intended for this. For this task, there is a separate large line of Dreame vacuum cleaners, including robots.
Floor washing
But this vacuum cleaner does a great job with washing the floor, and now I will demonstrate it.
Dreame H11 Max is suitable not only for collecting liquids, but also for various mixtures, for example, as already in the traditional test with egg and flour. He ground the shell and collected all the mix from the floor. Excellent result!
With rubbing the floor from dirt, he also copes great. The only moment, as expected, is that the Dreame H11 Max is not able to wash a narrow area along the plinth, like most other washing upright vacuum cleaners that have been in the review. So far, only the main competitor Roborock Dyad has perfectly coped with this task.
But with rubbing off complex dried-on stains in the form of coffee and sauce stains left overnight, this vacuum cleaner does an excellent job. Then a branded cleaning detergent helps a lot, which I added to the tank. It took less than 4 minutes to wipe off all the stains, while the analogues completed this test in about 10 minutes.
I can say that when testing the Dreame H11 Max, it really demonstrated the high quality of washing the floor and high suction power. At the same time, all tests were carried out on one battery charge, and it was used only half of the charging level. So, it is not only powerful, but also an autonomous cordless floor cleaner.
It remains only to check the quality of self-cleaning after all the tests, and here, again, Dreame H11 Max pleasantly surprised. Its self-cleaning function from debris and dirt is on a high level. The roller is clean after the self-cleaning cycle. Test passed successfully!
Summing up
The Dreame H11 Max was reviewed and tested in detail. Definitely one of the best washing upright vacuum cleaners of 2022. Here are the advantages of the model that I can highlight:
- High quality floor cleaning and dirt removal.
- High suction power.
- Automatic increase in power when determining a dirt.
- Stylish design.
- Ergonomic design.
- Informative LED display on the case.
- Self-cleaning function that effectively performs its task.
- Noise level is below average.
- Voice alerts.
- Good equipment, including branded cleaning detergent.
- High-quality assembly.
Speaking of disadvantages, I did not like the following points:
- Does not wash a narrow line along the plinth.
- Manual suction power adjustment is not provided.
- There is no way to adjust the level of water supply.
- Not suitable for carpet cleaning.
In general, these remarks are not major, considering all the advantages, and most importantly, the Dreame H11 Max does an excellent job of washing the floor and wiping off complex dirt, so it is definitely recommended for purchase. Well, personally, in my opinion, this is the most stylish washing upright vacuum cleaner on the market, which obviously will not spoil the interior of your home.
